I am not particularly fond of Black Friday deals. It's probably because I never got into the whole consumerism,-replace-every-year,-buy-the-newest-gadget movement. But I can recognize a good deal when I see it. This is why I preach this: Don't shop on Black Friday just because something has a reduced price. Buy only if you think it's a good deal. Here are a few discounts for accommodation (potential but not guaranteed good deals), handy if you have travel coming up soon:

For tours and activities, GetYourGuide has the largest selection and now runs a BF promo of up to 50% discounts. It's usually cheaper (and more fun!) to organize it yourself but sometimes it's a pain in the behind. With a discount and if travel is coming up it may be worth giving tours a go. Keep your eyes peeled for offers in the following days too. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the industry is trying to introduce yet another day of shopping - Travel Tuesday. But remember: only buy if you actually need it. Otherwise, you're not winning, you're just spending for the sake of it.
